Tierra Verde Island

South of downtown St. Petersburg, Florida and on your way towards the Sunshine Skyway you may discover a small island known as Tierra Verde. Tierra Verde is known as the Land of Green in Spanish and is just a few miles from the Skyway on the Pinellas Bay Way.

This gateway to Florida’s famous Ft. Desoto beach is postcard perfect for vacationers and luxury home living. Most of the island is dominated by palm trees, waterfront living, and a sporting activities. The island has its own ball field, bike trails (to Ft. Desoto), and numerous tennis courts.

Tierra Verde MapTierra Verde is flanked by the Gulf of Mexico to the west and Tampa Bay to the east. The set of islands is just south of the Pinellas County peninsula (St. Petersburg) and north of Bradenton.

Most all of the island’s land has now been developed, but there are a few select lots for sale and awaiting luxury homes. The developed land has a mix of condos, townhomes, luxury homes, and picture perfect mansions.
